Directed a new and innovative program within The Women's College intended to
prepare women for a career in the application of computer technology to the solution of
information systems challenges.
Consultant in Business Planning and Analysis 1995-Present
Designed and implemented Business and Network Planning Models for the
Telecommunications Industry. Trained the models in order to ensure that technology is
transferred and value received. Clients include several major telecommunications
companies.
Planned, managed and completed a project to determine the feasibility of building a
multimedia communications network in Indonesia. Directed a project team of disparate
skills. Wrote and edited the final report and presented the results to the client
companys board of directors as well as to the local telecommunications company
management.

1994
Taught high school level English to Slovak and Hungarian speaking students in two
locations. Started a business education program with Junior Achievement.
Director of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development 1991-1993
U S WEST Spectrum Enterprises International, Englewood, Colorado
Responsible for planning and business development in the team that created, from
the ground up, an international cellular telephone division and founded the first cellular
telephone companies in Hungary, Czechoslovakia and Russia. Created processes to identify,
hire and train people from a pool not typically familiar with "free market"
business. Consulted with U S WEST expatriate and local national managers on the effective
organization of these startup businesses.
Developed courses on basics of the cellular telephone business, business planning,
selling and marketing and taught them to employees of U S WEST's ventures in Hungary,
Czechoslovakia and Russia. The courses were transferred, translated and continue to be
taught.
Successfully structured a business culture that is an adaptable blend of Western
business practices and East European and Russian traditions.
All of these startup businesses are enjoying success and growth in uncertain markets.

Key contributor in the Mathematical Modeling Group. Evaluated new products and
services. Developed techniques and software systems to improve decision making and
business operations in U S WEST operating organizations.
Solutions resulted in significant market growth, cost savings and performance
improvements for U S WEST.

Planned new curriculum and courses, hired faculty and managed the budget.
Founded a "Business Advisory Group". Implemented significant changes in the
department direction based on the input of this group.
Developed several new course offerings in evolving technologies, including the
application of UNIX and C to business information systems. Taught courses in programming,
systems and database design and information systems management with consistently high
evaluations from peers and students.

Created, from the ground up, product design and customer support organizations for a
startup software development company. These groups packaged and documented the company's
product, made it reliable and provided consistent, high quality assistance to customers.
Company merged with Hewlett-Packard.
