Jodi Blomberg

Jodi Blomberg joined Cox Associates in April,1999 to assist on statistical projects, grant proposals, article publications, and applied research. Ms. Blomberg is a Ph.D. candidate in Applied Mathematics at the University of Colorado, Denver. She holds a B.A. of economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Colorado, Boulder. At Cox Associates, she has developed causal graph models and software for telecommunications companies, co-authored four technical reports for clients on aspects of classification tree analysis methodology and causal graph modeling, and analyzed epidemiological and juvenile justice data sets as part of Cox Associates' ongoing research in these areas.

Prior to joining Cox Associates, Ms. Blomberg worked for an Irish government agency developing a relational database for tracking grants and as a management consultant for Medimetrix Group, a health care consulting group, developing financial models, valuations, and physician compensation formulas. Her current research interests focus on Monte Carlo simulation algorithms for causal graph models and on understanding the roles of rational expectations about future consequences in affecting current plans and behaviors.
